It all begins with an idea,

I would wear a collarless Kurta, with a hooded shirt underneath. Which came with a lot of problems such as having to find the right colour hooded shirt to match the kurta colour, and during winter wearing two layers was fine but during the summer the heat would be too much.

So, I thought why not just add a hoodie to the Kurta, and it started off with just plain block coloured kurtas and transitioned into having patterns and designs sewn on them to wear for celebration like Eid.

Then the big idea came to sell them.

And, that’s how Hooded Thumbi Kurta was created.
